ほとりのリビングルームの格子窓
この格子が町家の雰囲気をグッと良くしてくれます。
窓を開けると 鴨川からの隙間風
そして夕方の西日が 白い漆喰の壁に きらきらともてなす彩光
「いとおかし」
普段まったく使わないこの言葉がふと出てきました
ご旅行中だと、この夕方のタイミングにリビングに居るというのはレアなのかもしれません
まさにほとりの マジックアワー。
そしてもう一つ、
スタッフしかしらない この眺め
年に何度かこの格子を外すのです
台風の翌日の澄んだ朝、格子を外したリビングから
思わず手を止めて深呼吸をしたくなるほど。。。
これもまた 「いとおかし」
※古文でよく使われた「いとおかし」は現代で「ヤバい」や「エモい」が近い意味を持つそうです＾＾

The breeze from the Kamo River is refreshing, and the colorful light of the setting sun pouring in through the latticework is wonderful.

And there is one more wonderful view that only the staff knows about!
That is about the second photo, on a clear morning the day after a recent typhoon, the view from the living room with the lattice removed was also excellent!
