前のブログでご紹介した藤森神社では午前中の参拝でしたが、真夏日なので汗だくになりました。友人からは墨染駅と藤森神社の間にとても素敵なお茶屋さんがあるよと聞いていたので、とても楽しみに訪問しました。椿堂さんという日本茶専門店で明治12年創業され、伏見稲荷大社や東福寺御用達の老舗です。
日常使いのほうじ茶や、お土産やプレゼントにも良いお洒落なパッケージの美味しそうなお茶が沢山並んでいます。ジャスミンほうじ茶、黒豆シナモンほうじ茶など、どれもそれぞれに魅力的です。
奥の茶房竹聲（ちくせい）では、落ち着いた雰囲気の中、美味しい和のデザートをいただく事ができます。
一枚板のカウンター席に座り、左手に広がる手入れの行き届いた日本庭園をみながらいただく『濃い抹茶あんみつ』とミント緑茶の美味しい事！緑茶は二煎目、三煎目も楽しめる様に銀の素敵な保温ポットでお湯を置いてくださいます。涼しい店内で、冷たい抹茶アイスのあんみつと暖かいミント緑茶をいただく事はとても贅沢な事でした。食べ終わる頃にはすっかり汗が引いていました。
「あー幸せ。ここに来れて良かったー!」と1人心の中で呟きながら美味しく頂いたのでした。
藤森神社と美味しい茶房竹聲さんのお茶の組み合わせは最高です！
In my last blog post, I introduced Fujimori Shrine. I visited the shrine in the morning, but since it was a scorching summer day, I ended up drenched in sweat. On my way back to the station, I stopped by a really nice shop that a friend had recommended.
It’s called Tsubakido, a specialty shop for Japanese tea founded in Meiji 12; it’s a long-established store that has been the official supplier to Fushimi Inari Taisha and Tofukuji Temple. The shelves are lined with a wide variety of teas—from everyday hojicha to delicious-looking options perfect for souvenirs or gifts. Everything looked tempting, from jasmine hojicha to black bean cinnamon hojicha. At the tea room “Chikusei” in the back, you can enjoy delicious Japanese desserts in a serene atmosphere.
Sitting at a counter seat made from a single slab of wood, I enjoyed the “Rich Matcha Anmitsu” and mint green tea while gazing at the meticulously maintained Japanese garden spreading out to my left—it was absolutely delicious! The hot water was served in a lovely silver thermos so I could enjoy the second and third infusions as well. Savoring the Anmitsu with cold matcha ice cream and warm mint green tea in the cool interior of the shop was a truly luxurious experience. “Ah, I’m so happy. I’m so glad I came here,” I murmured to myself as I savored every bite. By the time we finished eating, the sweat had completely dried up.
Fujinomori Shrine and the delicious tea at Chikusei/Tsubakido—it was the perfect combination!
