ほとりの館内にはアンティークの雑貨や家具があちこちにあります。
築100年の町家をリノベーションしたほとりには、アンティークがとても似合います。
（勿論モダンな家電もしっくり馴染んでいますが！）
今日は、ほとりからぶらぶら散歩しながら楽しめるアンティークショップをご紹介します。
寺町二条エリアまではほとりから徒歩約25分。
木屋町を歩いても寺町を歩いても素敵な風景やお店を沢山発見できます。
お天気が良ければ鴨川を歩くととても気持ちが良いですよ。
ほとりスタッフ達のお気に入りでもあるこの界隈は、歩道が広くとても歩きやすく、
美味しいパン屋さんお菓子屋さんアンティークショップ、手芸屋さんなどがあちこちにあります。
お手軽な定食屋さんも沢山ありますので、お昼の時間に歩くと、どのお店に入ろうかと
思わず一軒一軒メニューを確認したくなる、そんな魅力的なエリアでもあります。
グランピエ丁字屋さんは、建物は京町家ですが、中は世界中から集められた
民芸品、家具、食器が所狭しと並べられていて、一歩中に入ると左右上下見どころが多くて
キョロキョロしてしまう位のワクワク感があります。
きれいなお皿に何を載せようか、このガラス瓶には小さな花が似合うなかな等と妄想が膨らみます。
寺町を南下していくと姉小路通りにはアンティークベルさんがあります。
おばあちゃんの家に同じようなお皿があったなと思い出しつつも、
ディスプレイ一つでものすごく価値のある芸術作品に思えるようなしつらえに
思わず感心してしまいます。
三条東洞院エリアにもとても素敵なアンティークショップがあります。
７０Bさん。ほとりでもハーブティーを入れているアンティークガラスの器は
オーナーがこちらで発掘してきました。
陶器やガラス製品はお店のあちこちに置かれているので気分はまるで宝探しでワクワクします。
もう1軒、文化博物館前の古夢（COM）さんも所狭しと、見た事のある昭和の懐かしいお皿から、
貴重な値札を見るだけで緊張するようなお皿が沢山。特にガラス製品が素敵でしたが、
さびた鎖など何に使うんだろうというアイテムまで揃っていて、見ているだけで楽しくなります。
ここには書ききれませんが実は他にも素敵なアンティーク屋さんが街中にはまだまだあります。
映画の小道具さんが来られたらよさそうなアンティーク屋さん、
北欧のお洒落ヴィンテージショップなどなど、アンティーク好きにはたまらないお店が沢山あります。

Antiques are a perfect fit for hotori, a renovated 100-year-old townhouse.
Today, I would like to introduce you to some antique shops.
It takes about 25 minutes on foot from hotori to Teramachi Nijo area.
There are many delicious bakeries, sweets shops, antique stores, and handicraft shops here and there.
Grampie Chojiya is a traditional Kyoto townhouse, but inside is filled with folk crafts, furniture, and tableware from all over the world.
Once you step inside, there are so many things to see from left to right and up to down, that it is so fun to look around.
The beautiful plates make me think about what to put on them, or what little flowers would look good in this small glass vase, and so on.
At Antique Bell, I was reminded of similar dishes at my grandmother’s house, but I couldn’t help but admire the way they were displayed, as if they were great art works with tremendous value.
There are very nice antique shops in the Sanjo Higashinotoin area.

The pottery and glassware are placed here and there throughout the store, making you feel like you are on an exciting treasure hunt.
Our owner has discovered glass cases to keep herbal tea leaves for our guests.
Another shop, COM, located in front of the Museum of Kyoto, is also filled with a variety of items, ranging from nostalgic Showa-era plates to antique glassware.
