店内には立派なロースターがあり、こまめに豆の焙煎具合をチェックされている横で、
丁寧に入れられるとても美味しいコーヒーを味わえます。
陶芸家でいらっしゃる店主のお父様の水色でつやつやの美しい清水焼のコーヒーカップでいただきました。
美味しいコーヒー、美しい器、落ち着いたお店の雰囲気、たった一杯でも素敵な気分になれるお店でした。
お店では他の陶芸家さんの作品も販売されています。
ほとりでも飾り皿として作品を飾らせていただいている森里陶楽さんの繊細で美しいカップ＆ソーサーも
販売されているのを発見し、密かに興奮したのでした！！
ほとりから徒歩15分。三十三間堂や国立博物館の後にもおすすめです。
Ichikawa-ya Coffee Shop is marked by a red Vespa.
It has a nostalgic atmosphere of a renovated townhouse.
There is a magnificent roaster in the store, and you can enjoy the carefully brewed coffee
while they check the roasting condition of the beans.
The coffee was served in a beautiful Kiyomizu-yaki pottery coffee cup,
a glossy light blue color made by the owner’s father, who is a potter.
The delicious coffee, the beautiful cup, and the relaxed atmosphere made even just one cup of coffee
a wonderful experience.
The coffee shop also sells the works of other potter.
I was secretly excited to discover that they also sold cups and saucers made by To-raku,
whose works are displayed as decorative plates at hotori!!
It’s about a 15-minute walk from hotori. It is also recommended after Sanjusangendo or the National Museum.
