市内から車で約2時間半ほど、京都府の日本海側の町 久美浜町に是非お薦めしたい素敵なスポットがあります。
京都では有名で人気の料亭 和久傳が、創業の地である京丹後市久美浜で、
2007年より約3万本の植樹を行い十数年かけて「和久傳の森」を作り上げました。
そこには、レストラン、お菓子やお惣菜を製造する工房、そして安野光雅館があります。
三つの魅力が詰まったこの敷地内は静かで心が穏やかになれる、そんな平和な空間でした。
和久傳の料亭は敷居が高くなかなか行けませんが、ここの工房レストランwakuden MORI（モーリ）は
和久傳のエッセンスを大いに感じながら気軽に美味しいお料理をいただくことができました。
お野菜の美味しさが十分にいきた奥深い味わいでした。
小さな土鍋で出てきた白味噌を使った京都牛は体がとても温まりました。
一口一口丁寧に味わいながらいただき、心もお腹もすっかり満たされたのでした。
最後は大好きな西湖（せいこ）です。
ぷるぷるの食感の優しい甘さのデザートで大満足のランチタイムとなりました。
清潔な工房では西湖が生産中でした。山の様に積み上げられた西湖。
つかみ取りをしたい気持ちでガラス越しに見学しました。
森の中の家 安野光雅館は、安藤忠雄さんデザインの小さな美術館です。
コンクリート打ちっぱなしの回廊は、いかにもTHE安藤建築！といった雰囲気です。
道順通り歩いても、実は建物には通じておらず、2倍の距離を歩かされた感があります（笑）
しかしそこが安藤さんの狙いだそうです。
小さな可愛らしい館内は、安野さんの素敵な作品で満たされていました。
子供の頃に読んだ絵本の挿絵、安野さんの軌跡を見る事ができ、暖かい気持ちになりました。
京都「洛中洛外」の風景も沢山あり、そこで見た法然院の可愛らしい作品を見て、
是非実際に法然院に行こうと思いました。またいつかブログにアップしますね。
京都から久美浜町までは亀岡を通り抜けていきます。
空気と水の綺麗な地域で、食品工場が多く立ち並んでいます。
京都の田園風景を眺めながらの日帰りドライブの旅いかがでしょうか。
There is a wonderful spot in Kumihamacho, a town on the Sea of Japan coast of Kyoto Prefecture, about two and a half hours by car from Kyoto City, that I highly recommend.
Wakuden, a famous and popular ryotei restaurant in Kyoto, planted about 30,000 trees in Kumihama, Kyotango City, where the company was founded, in 2007 and created the “Wakuden no mori (=Wakuden’s forest)” over a period of ten years.
There, you will find a restaurant, a factory, and the Yasuno Mitsumasa Museum. This site, filled with three attractions, is a quiet and peaceful place where one can feel at peace.
Wakuden restaurants are not easy to visit because of the high price, but here at wakuden MORI, we were able to enjoy delicious food in a casual atmosphere while feeling the essence of Wakuden. The vegetables had a deep and profound flavor, and their deliciousness was fully expressed in the dishes. The Kyoto beef served in a small earthenware pot with white miso was very warming. I savored each bite carefully, and my heart and stomach were completely satisfied. The last dish was my favorite, Seiko. The gently sweet dessert with a plump texture made for a very satisfying lunchtime.
In the clean factory, Seiko was in production and piled up like a mountain. I looked through the glass with a feeling of wanting to grab them.
House in the Forest Mitsumasa Anno Museum is a small museum designed by Tadao Ando.
The corridors are made of concrete, and the atmosphere is just like THE Ando’s! Even if you follow the directions, the path does not actually lead to the building, making you feel like you have to walk twice the distance (lol).
The small, cute museum was filled with Mr. Anno’s wonderful works. I felt warmed by the illustrations of picture books I read as a child and some lovely artworks of Kyoto.
From Kyoto to Kumihama Town, you will pass through Kameoka city. The area has clean air and water, and many food factories line in the country side.
How about a day-trip driving trip with a view of the countryside of Kyoto?
