京セラ美術館で開催されている『アンディ・ウォーホル・キョウト』の展覧会と同時に開催中の、
ウォーホル関連の写真展をご紹介します。
ほとりから徒歩約10分のZENBI-鍵善良房-KAGIZEN ART MUSEUMでは、
1974年のウォーホル来日を撮影された写真展が開催されています。
くずきりで有名な鍵善さんが作られた、小さな美しいミュージアム。
ここでも、ウォーホルが歩いた京都の様子を見る事ができました。
今も変わらない京都の写真を見て、私も思わず散歩に行きたくなりました。
目の前にはミュージアムショップもあり、ウォーホルのグッズ、作家さんの素敵な作品、
鍵善さんの干菓子など自分用にもお土産用にも良い、見れば見るほど欲しくなる品々が沢山ありました。
このミュージアムやショップのある一角は、まるで別の世界に来たような静かで澄んだ空気に
包まれていました。心癒される時間となり、訪問後はとても気分がリフレッシュされました。
とてもおススメのミュージアムです。
また、川端丸太町のイムラアートギャラリーでは1980年代にニューヨークで活躍する
アーティスト達を撮影した写真家 Roland Hagenberg 氏の写真展が11月25日まで開催中です。
9月写真展が開始された時に行ってきました。ちょうど雑誌の取材も来られていました。
プロのカメラマンの前でポーズを取るプロのカメラマン ローランさん、とてもカッコよかったです！
新しく出版されたばかりの本には、NY時代の撮影秘話、アーティストや生活の様子など書かれていて、まるで映画の世界の様です。
京セラ美術館と合わせて是非ギャラリーにも足を運んでみてください。
I’d like to introduce Warhol-related photo exhibitions.
At ZENBI Art Museum, a 10-minute walk from hotori, which was produced by a famous sweet shop Kagizen, the exhibition features photographs taken during Warhol’s visit to Japan in 1974.
Seeing the photos of Kyoto as it still is today made me want to go for a walk as well.
There is a museum store right in front of the museum, where you can buy Warhol goods, pretty works by the artists, and some sweets made by Kagizen.
The area where the museum and store are located was filled with a quiet and clear air, as if we were in another world.
I highly recommend this museum!
“NEW YORK FRIENDS” by Mr.Roland Hagenberg, a photographer who photographed New York artists in the 1980s at Imura art gallery.
I visited the gallery in September. One magazine editor was visiting him for interview. A professional photographer posing in front of a professional photographer, so cool!
He published a new book on the secret story of the photo shooting in New York, the artist, his life, etc. It is just like a movie world.
