日々、作業やお仕事はたくさんありますが、私がいちばん好きなのは「門掃き」の時間。
帚と塵取りを手に表へ出て、掃き掃除をする。
ただそれだけの時間です。
その日の天気や気温を肌で感じながら、シャッシャッ…と帚が地面を掻く音に心地よさを感じます。
春に降り積もる桜、夏の強い日差しと蝉の合唱、秋は赤黄に染まった葉が落ちて
落ち葉も花びらも降らない冬には、春を待つ静けさでより帚の音が耳に響きます。
門掃きをするというただそれだけの時間に季節の移ろいを感じ
ふと今夜お泊りになるお客様のことに思いを巡らせ…
なんとも幸せな感謝の気持ちが湧いてくる瞬間です。
お気に入りの帚は内藤商店さんのもの。
インスタに載せたところ、この帚を作っておられる職人さんから
「お使いいただきありがとうございます」とメッセージをいただきました。
作り手の方の顔が見えるというのがすごく好きで、わざわざメッセージをいただいたことに感動。
ここぞとばかりに「どれだけ愛用していて、どんなところが好きで…」と熱烈な感想をお伝えしてしまいました。
良い道具というのは、良い時間を与えてくれものだと感じます。
作っている方の手間と思いがこめられているから、価値がある。
今日も明日も、何年後も。内藤商店さんの帚で門掃きと季節を楽しみたいと思います。
I have a lot of work every day, but my favorite time is “gate sweeping”.

In the spring, you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing with the pink petals that constantly fall.
In the summer, while listening to the big chorus of cicadas, I felt the strong sunlight on my nape.
Enjoy the colors of the autumn leaves that fall on the ground in the autumn.
And in winter, when there are no fallen leaves or petals, the tranquility of waiting for spring makes the sound of a broom more audible.
However, for that much time, I felt the change of seasons in the short time of sweeping the gate, and I thought about the customer who will be staying tonight, and the moment when I feel happy and grateful.
My favorite broom is from Naito Shoten.
A good tool gives you a good time.
It is worth because it takes the time to make and is full of the love which is from a person who makes it .
Today, tomorrow, years later. I would like to enjoy the gate sweeping and the season at Naito Shoten’s broom.
