今日は桂離宮をご紹介します！京都市西京区桂にある皇室関連施設で、江戸時代の17世紀に皇族の八条宮の別邸として創設されました。
かのドイツの建築家ブルーノ・タウトが「涙が出るほど美しい」と言ったところから国内外でもその良さが再認識されることとなった桂離宮。
敷地の8割以上が回遊式の庭園で、ファンの方が季節ごとに訪れるほど人気で、日本庭園の傑作と呼ばれています。現在、苑地整備工事が行われています。
ガイドさんによると、池に水が無い姿にコアなファンは「レア」と大喜びだそうです。最近は予約なくても、空きがあれば見学できるのはありがたい限りですが、見学出来ない可能性があるのと、空きがあってもツアーの時間を選べないので、出来るだけ前もって予約を取られることをおすすめ致します。そしてその価値があります！
Hello. Today I’d like to introduce Katsura Imperial Villa!It is the Imperial family facility located in Katsura, Nishikyo Ward, Kyoto City, and was established in the 17th century during the Edo period as a villa for Hachijonomiya, a member of the Imperial family.
After the German architect Bruno Julius Florian Taut expressed the villa as “Tearfully beautiful”, the villa was recognized again both in Japan and abroad. People say the villa as the masterpiece of Japanese garden.
Currently, the garden is under construction. According to the guide, core fans are delighted to see the rare pond without water. We recommend you to make a reservation in advance. And it’s worth it!
